The Sounds of Harassment is a digital story that represents the outcomes of a research project that explored how members of
a large law enforcement agency made sense of a harassment scandal, including the nature and extent of the problem and
how the organization responded. This project also considered whether the public scandal changed how people thought
about their organization and their relationship with it. This story offers key insights into the nature of workplace harassment,
how people think about it, the role of culture and leadership, and how harassment might be addressed.
